Laudia LeBlanc, M.O.A. Aud(C)
Having almost 20 years’ experience in a hospital setting, Laudia has touched almost every sphere of audiology. She has worked with a varied clientele ranging from pediatrics to the the elderly, has been actively involved in research and has shared some of her knowledge presenting on local and national platforms.
Laudia, in collaboration with a colleague, spearheaded an initiative to redefine and implement an auditory processing disorders (APD) protocol for French populations. That same protocol is currently being used in audiology clinics in the Vitalité Health Network across the province of New Brunswick. She also worked at collecting French normative data for speech in noise in collaboration with an assistant professor and audiologist at the University of Ottawa. Laudia strongly believes in the value of making her clients feel comfortable and understood. She will go above and beyond what is necessary to achieve this goal. She knows every client is unique and strives to better meet their individual needs. With exceptional professionalism, Laudia is well respected by her patients as well as her peers, which makes her an ideal addition to the Avenir team.
Interests Laudia’s involvement in her community is longstanding. She has volunteered many hours to her children’s schools and been a member of the school parent committees since they first started kindergarten. In the summertime, you can find her at various campgrounds with her husband Roger and daughters Gabrielle and Jasmine.
